| Aizoon Snail Mucus Gel:
Already in ancient Greece, snails were used to reduce inflammation of the skin. Snail mucus contains many essential substances, including zinc and manganese, which has an anti-inflammatory effect. It also contains vitamins A and E, which are strong antioxidants, and Allantoin which aids in the wound healing process and soothes, softens and stimulates skin irritation.
Aizoon uses the mucus of the Helix Aspersa snail for her gel. The combination with Aloe Vera has a moisturizing effect and makes the skin look younger and smoother.
